TEHRAN Rasheem Green Seahawks Jersey , Sept. 27 (Xinhua) -- Iranian researchers are studying nuclear-fuelled engines for submarines, warships and destroyers, Tehran Times daily reported Wednesday.

Nuclear-fuelled engines will allow the Navy to dispense with fossil fuels during long voyages in international waters, Tehran Times reported, citing Habibollah Sayyari, the commander of the Iranian navy.

The Atomic Energy Organization of Iran (AEOI) started developing systems for nuclear-powered marine vessels under President Hassan Rouhani's order last year.

Iran has asked the International Atomic Energy Agency to provide technical assistance in devising the nuclear propulsion system.

"We will certainly carry the job within the framework of the nuclear deal and the safeguards agreements and will not do anything beyond that," AEOI chief Ali Akbar Salehi said.

Thomas Mueller says cup -holders Bayern Munich must show some "balls" at Bayer Leverkusen on Wednesday when two giants of German soccer clash for a place in the German Cup's semifinals.

With the Munich giants 10 points clear in the Bundesliga and fourth-placed Bayer on course for a Champions League place next season, the clash at Leverkusen's BayArena is the standout fixture of the quarter-finals.

"You need to have some balls for that, it's the cup quarterfinals, there is definitely a bit of spice in this one," said -Germany forward Mueller in his own unique style.

Leverkusen warmed up with a 4-0 rout of Hamburg at home on Saturday while Bayern ground out a 1-0 win at Borussia Dortmund with an unusually defensive display.

Bayern have a lengthy injury list with wingers Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, plus left back David Alaba out of the match with long-term -ailments.

Defensive midfielder and Germany captain Bastian Schweinsteiger is also out after limping off against Dortmund with an ankle injury.

But Bayern remain the team to beat, according to Leverkusen's former striker Stefan Kiessling, as Leverkusen bid to repeat their 2009 last-eight win over Bayern when Kiessling scored in a 4-2 home win.

Leverkusen went on to lose 1-0 to Werder Bremen in the 2009 final and since then -Bayern have won the cup three more times.

They are record holders due to winning the cup 17 times since the competition began in 1953.

"Whoever wants to win the German Cup has to beat -Bayern as some point," said the 31-year-old Kiessling.

Leverkusen are certainly in line to beat Bayern as both Borusssia Moenchengladbach and Wolfsburg, two of the sides above them in the Bundesliga table, have sprung shock -defeats on Munich this season.

The other German Cup quarterfinals are all--Bundesliga affairs as Wolfsburg host Freiburg with Dortmund at home to Hoffenheim.

Then third-division Arminia Bielefeld, who have already beaten top-tier sides Hertha Berlin and Werder Bremen in previous rounds, will look to pull off another shock at -Moenchengladbach in Wednesday's other last-eight clash.

The latest evidence of Malaysian food's strengthening presence in China: the arrival of the new PappaRich restaurant at the Ikea store in Beijing's Daxing district.

Established in Kuala Lumpur in 2005, the popular chain now has more than 70 outlets in its home country, plus cities from Singapore to Australia, the United States and Britain.

In 2013, Chinese restaurant group Tang Palace-after forming a joint-venture subsidiary with PappaRich-brought the brand to the Chinese mainland, opening the first three outlets in Shanghai.

The Beijing branch is the fourth.

On a recent Monday lunch visit, I go to the eatery and find quite a few tables already taken, even though there are few people visiting Ikea at the time.

The menu presents abundant and colorful choices that boast coconut milk, curries, chilies and heavy sauces. The restaurant seems to feature modern Malaysian cuisine that draws influence from other Asian countries, especially Thailand and Singapore.

Restaurant manager Jiang Jinling tells me that all the dishes are prepared by traditional methods to ensure the authenticity of Malaysian taste.

Many of the ingredients, including sauces and tropical vegetables, are imported from Malaysia, she adds.

After asking her advice, I pick several of the restaurant's flagship dishes from more than 120 choices, and they all turn out to be remarkably delicious.

I start with the French toast, because it looks golden and inviting.

Each slice of bread toasted with egg is about 3 centimeters thick, sliced with a pocket to be stuffed with peanut butter and kaya, Malaysian coconut jam made of pandan and sugar.

The first bite combines the feel of the soft toasted bread with the crunch taste and nice aroma of peanut butter, then an aftertaste of kaya. I can't stop eating it.

The restaurant's signature drink, litchi soda, is a perfect match to the French toast.
