TOKYO, Sept. 15 (Xinhua) -- The Japanese government said on Friday morning that a ballistic missile launched from the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK) had flown over northern Japan and fallen into the Pacific.
The government said the missile landed around 2,000 km east off the cape of Erimo in Hokkaido at around 7:16 a.m. local time (2216 GMT Thursday).
